Fluorocarbon Lines and Leaders

Choosing the best leader material is hugely important whether you are Sea, Carp, or Coarse Fishing.
Fluorocarbon Lines and leaders are highly popular, especially for fishing in clear water.
Fluorocarbon has the same refractive index as water which allows this line to become near-invisible when submerged.
Like monofilament, Fluorocarbon line is made from a single filament but it is denser which helps the line to sink quicker, it is very sensitive and less stretchy than monofilament.
Whichever type of line you choose, be aware of the breaking strain, this is the amount of force you can put on the line before it breaks. If you are fishing for larger species you will require a stronger line.
